Almost always paired with Isis and almost never separated from her, standing at the other end of the bier, one at the head and one at the feet. She is married to Set and does not side with him, which the texts never explain and never treat as a problem. Her name means lady of the house, and the house in question is the temple enclosure rather than a home.
