The moonTimeHealing

How it changed

His name means the traveller, from the moon's movement across the sky. Early references in the Pyramid Texts are alarming, a bloodthirsty deity helping the dead king consume other gods, and by the New Kingdom he is a benign healer credited with driving out sickness. The Bentresh Stela, a late text claiming to record a much earlier event, has his statue sent abroad to cure a foreign princess.
