jꜥḥThe moon
How it changed
The plain word for the moon made a god, and one largely absorbed by the two larger lunar figures, Thoth and Khonsu, so that he survives mostly inside their names and epithets and inside royal names such as Ahmose, the moon is born. Where he keeps a separate identity it is as the moon as an object rather than as a personality.
