How it changed
The goddess of one mountain: the pyramid-shaped peak standing over the Valley of the Kings, worshipped almost exclusively by the workmen who cut the tombs beneath it. Her name means she who loves silence. A stela left by the draughtsman Neferabu describes her striking him blind for a wrongdoing and then healing him when he confessed, which is one of the most personal religious texts to survive from Egypt.
